Born on Solana.
Announced from orbit.
Every launch pays a few sats to beam its genesis over Blockstream Satellite. The receipt lives on the coin page.

How a coin gets to orbit
Five steps. The first happens on Solana, the last happens 35,786 km up. Nothing in between needs your attention.
- STEP 01mint → TODO
Launch on Solana
Name, ticker, image. The coin is minted on a Meteora bonding curve, like any other Solana launch.
- STEP 02≈ 250 bytes
Genesis message
We write a short record: name, ticker, mint, creator, time and a SHA-256 of all of it.
- STEP 03≈ 20 sats
Lightning payment
Airtime is paid in sats. The fee scales with the size of the message, not the size of the coin.
- STEP 04order id issued
Queued at the uplink
The message joins Blockstream Satellite's public queue and waits for its turn on the transmitter.

Broadcast to the footprint
Three geostationary satellites repeat it to every receiver on the ground. The airtime goes on the coin page.
Three satellites. Most of the map.
Blockstream Satellite runs on three geostationary satellites. Any dish inside a footprint receives every genesis we send.

Launch and broadcast
Fill in three fields. The message on the right is exactly what goes up.
Every coin, with its airtime
Newest broadcasts first. Each row opens a coin page with the full receipt.

Questions, answered plainly
Q.01Is the blockchain on the satellite?+
No. The coin lives on Solana, like any other Solana token. The satellite carries one short message about its launch, and that's all.
Q.02What exactly is broadcast?+
A plain-text genesis record of about 250 bytes: name, ticker, mint address, creator wallet, launch time and a SHA-256 of those fields. No images, no prices, no ads.
Q.03Can I receive it?+
Yes. A small dish, an LNB and a Blockstream Satellite receiver pick up the stream anywhere inside the footprints. Blockstream also publishes every transmitted order with a SHA-256 digest of the message, so you can compare it with the digest on the coin page.
Q.04What does it cost?+
Airtime is billed per byte over Lightning. A genesis message usually costs around 20 sats, which is a couple of cents. The creator pays it at launch, together with the Solana fees.
Q.05Why Solana?+
Fast, cheap launches and bonding curves that work. Bitcoin carries the announcement, and Solana carries the trading.
Q.06Where does the 2.5% go?+
To the creator’s wallet, on every trade. The rate is fixed when the coin launches.
